Spend a Snow Day on Hilton Head Island–Yes, You Heard Us Right!

Calling all families visiting Hilton Head Island on the last weekend of January: you won’t want to miss this annual island event! Snow is scheduled to cover Shelter Cove Community Park—a rare occurrence in the Lowcountry.

Thanks to the Island Recreation Association, you can join in on this memorable tradition and play in the powder to your heart’s content. The best part? When you’re done, you can leave the snow behind and enjoy the island’s temperate winter weather for the rest of your vacation!
