A favorite donut shop for many, there are some updates you’ll need to know before ordering. No longer is The Purple Cow a walk-in bakery. This fan favorite has turned into a baked-to-order bakery. If you’re looking to order donuts, you’ll need to make the hard decisions ahead of time and preorder before 3pm the day before. Take a look at either the regular donut menu or the vegan donut menu, and place your order by email or text.
You read that right: vegan donuts. And they’re best you’ll ever eat, hands down. The Purple Cow’s donuts are worth the extra step, so just plan ahead the day before and you’ll be picking up your delicious donuts at Fat Baby’s Pizza and Subs in no time.

The founder started the donut shop because when his family went on vacation, they could never find warm, fresh donuts. Now, visitors to Hilton Head Island won’t have a problem finding these delightfully warm donuts that are fully customizable and made right before your very eyes. Located in Coligny Plaza, Sweet Al’s Café may be small, but oh, does it turn out some tasty treats! Perfect if your group wants to take a walk in the morning, stop at Al’s to pick up some delicious coffee and one of their perfectly puffy donuts (or any other pastry or breakfast sandwich that catches your eye) before heading across the street to Coligny Beach to eat with a beautiful view. Or, if you can’t wait to eat, there are a few outdoor tables and chairs that are covered.
