Fall Festival

Palmera Vacation Club – 2019 Fall Events in Hilton Head Island

Summer is officially over on Hilton Head with kids back in school and less-crowded beaches, but that doesn’t mean the fun stops! Fall in Hilton Head is such a great time of year with festivals, football games and a chill in the air. We dream of those chilly mornings all year long! Golf is a main attraction during the “off-season” since its more enjoyable to be outside for 18 holes, but if you aren’t a golfer there is so much more to do! The island comes back to life with great outdoor events that will make you want to visit more often! Don’t miss what we have going on around here this fall and make sure to come down and celebrate with us!

Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival | September 20-21 | Harbour Town

shrimp festival The second annual Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival will be held on Friday, September 20 from 5-8 pm and Saturday, September 20 from 2-5 pm. It’s $35 each day or you can purchase a two-day ticket, which will be $65. This fun-filled event will be located under the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town and features craft beers, a Lowcountry boil, barbeque and an assortment of shrimp dishes from nearly 20 local and regional restaurants. Tickets can be purchased online or in person and a portion of the event proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island! We love when our community gives back!

Jeep Island | October 11-12 | Honey Horn Plantation

The Jeep Island event is an island favorite! Whether you drive a jeep or not, this event is for everyone! This year it will be combined with the annual Chili Cookoff so make sure to drive your Jeep (if you have one), bring your friends and your appetite! There will also be football on the big screen, live entertainment and other food and drink options available!

This will be the 15th annual Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival! And if you’ve never been, there is a reason that it is still rocking and rolling! It is such an awesome event with so many things to offer. There are local restaurants and bars offering their best cocktails and food items, local entertainment and over 100 artists displaying and selling their art. This family event is loved by all and takes up almost the entire downtown. The festival is full of events all week long, but Saturday is the main attraction.  Make sure to book your trip now if you haven’t already! You won’t want to miss this local event!
