With Mother\u2019s Day around the corner, we thought it would be a great time to recommend a few of our favorite destinations that make for the perfect getaway for mother-daughter groups. Planning either a fun-filled or a relaxing trip with your mom or your daughter can be a great chance to reconnect and make new memories outside of your normal day-to-day, e<\/strong>specially if the two of you have to travel just to get to each other!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless of whether you\u2019re looking to plan a trip together specifically for Mother\u2019s Day or if you\u2019re simply trying to take a trip in the future, read on for a list of recommended travel destinations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hilton Head Island, SC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re looking to book a last-minute getaway for Mother\u2019s Day this year<\/a> or just an extra trip on the books in general, Palmera Vacation Club members have an advantage when it comes to traveling to Hilton Head Island. Charleston, SC <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another Lowcountry location with an abundance of Southern charm, historical architecture, and plenty of opportunities to snap some photos to remember the trip by, Charleston, South Carolina, has always been a favorite for mother-daughter trips.<\/strong> Maybe it\u2019s the walkability<\/strong> of the city, where you\u2019ll be able to pop into a shop, art gallery, or caf\u00e9 wherever you go, or its slow-paced atmosphere where it\u2019s as if nobody has a care in the world, the Holy City is a great travel destination for those just looking to wander and see what they find.<\/strong> The restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops all deserve their praises, since many offer al fresco dining, beautiful views of the cobblestone streets, and are just downright adorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Napa Valley, CA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the mother-daughter pair that are both adults, however young at heart they may be, consider Napa Valley in California for the next getaway. While you can certainly choose to spend all of your time in the town of Napa itself, we always like to recommend the entire Napa Valley as there are more charming towns included like Calistoga, St. Helena, and more <\/strong>that offer additional wine tasting experiences and other activities. Its beautiful, near-perfect weather<\/strong> and endless rolling hills filled with gorgeous vineyards make Napa Valley a must-see spot not only for wine connoisseurs<\/strong>, but for those looking to discover one of the United States\u2019 most popular travel destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chattanooga, TN <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chattanooga is a great destination for mothers looking to spend some quality time with their daughter(s) of any age.<\/strong> Located in the Appalachian Mountains<\/strong>, you\u2019ll want to pack some sneakers or hiking shoes as there are so many scenic hikes<\/strong> just a short drive away from downtown Chattanooga.
