Fall in Savannah means more temperate days to walk the many historic blocks and squares with ease, forgetting the feeling of needing a cold drink in your hand and ducking into every shop or art gallery along the way to take a breather in their air conditioning. Festivals and events start popping back up again, and it seems like there is at the very least live music happening every weekend. Travelers who appreciate beautiful weather, but prefer to stay on a paved road (or cobblestones in this case) rather than a dirt trail will feel right at home in Savannah. Foodies and history buffs alike won\u2019t get enough of this legendary port city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s the spookier legends and tales of local haunts that attract some travelers year-round, but especially in the fall. Haunted tours strike a chord more when Halloween is around the corner and the sun sets earlier, than it does on a hot summer\u2019s day.
