Some dazzling displays are easy to find and line the streets, not only making the town more festive but easier to navigate after sunset. Without neon signs or other city lights stealing the spotlight, the many light displays throughout the island are simply amazing. That being said, visitors want to make sure they manage to spot all of the main displays to soak up all of the island’s holiday magic. We’ve collected a list of all of the best light displays for the public to admire:
Lowcountry Celebration Park

Home to Hilton Head Island’s official town Christmas tree, this park is already popular during the day, since it offers pretty walking paths, a stage and green space for local festivals and events, as well as an impressive play structure for kids. During the holiday season, its oh-so-festive display of colorful Christmas lights will be just as popular after the sun sets!
Coligny Plaza
1 N Forest Beach Dr, Hilton Head Island, SC
Across the street from Lowcountry Celebration Park, Coligny Plaza Shopping Center is also known to have its own cheery light display. Whether your shopping trip runs late, or you have dinner reservations at one of the many delicious restaurants, you’ll want to take a little stroll to see all of the lights!
Fire Station #3

An island tradition that goes back years, Fire Station #3 welcomes one and all to drive through its dazzling light display. Feel free to bring non-perishable food items to help Deep Well.
Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina

Right from the entrance, you’ll be blown away by a light display hanging overhead. Take a walk around the marina to see how many decorated boats you can spot!
Shelter Cove Towne Centre

Featuring a beautiful Christmas tree towering over the Community Park, the streets and shops look quite festive too. Check to see when Santa comes to town.
Dove Street

This longstanding tradition is a favorite for locals and those who happen upon the North Forest Beach neighborhood. We highly recommend taking a drive through Dove Street this holiday season, as the residents always outdo themselves when decorating their homes and street with dazzling Christmas lights!
