This annual parade is a favorite among the Sea Pines community and will be a fun treat for the kiddos. Parade registration starts at 8:30am in the parking lot close to the newly renovated Quarterdeck restaurant. The first 100 participants that register will receive decoration supplies if needed.

The parade will step off at 9:30am, and participants will be judged on how patriotic they are! But of course, those just looking to join in on the fun shouldn’t let that keep them from walking in the parade.

Once the parade has officially ended, everyone is welcome to stick around for carnival games and other children’s activities.

A pass must be purchased at the gate to enter the Sea Pines property.

Afternoon Events

Salute the Shore

Hilton Head Island Coastline

Approximate Time: 1:00-1:45pm

Event Website

A South Carolina tradition that you don’t want to miss this Fourth of July, Salute From the Shore is a way for those enjoying their day on the beach can take a moment to honor our country’s armed forces.

Starting in Myrtle Beach, this military flyover stretches the length of South Carolina’s gorgeous coast and should be above Hilton Head around 1:30pm–so keep an eye on the sky! Dress in your red, white, and blue, and head to the beaches to see a combination of F-16s and C-17s pass by.

Celebrate the 4th of July with a family-friendly concert by the Hilton Head Island icon, Gregg Russell in the heart of Harbour Town. You won’t be able to miss the Liberty Oak Tree, as it shades the outdoor stage and it backed up against the Harbour Town Yacht Basin.

Stick around for the Sea Pine Resort’s Firework show!

A pass must be purchased at the gate to enter the Sea Pines property.

Sea Pines Resort’s Fireworks

Harbour Town in Sea Pines

149 Lighthouse Rd,
Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

9:00pm

Event Website

With the iconic Harbour Town Lighthouse taking center stage over the Yacht Basin, it doesn’t get as patriotic or as “Hilton Head” as this spot. Many people have the same sentiments, so if you are deciding to make your way to Harbour Town during this holiday, expect a crowd and limited parking. The good news is, if you decide to head over to find parking early, you’ll be able to sightsee, enjoy the sunshine, and even grab a bite to eat before the festivities start.

Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:00pm.

A pass must be purchased at the gate to enter the Sea Pines property.

HarbourFest Fireworks

Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina

13 Harbourside Ln,
Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

Sundown

Event Website

The HarbourFest Fireworks during the week of the fourth will be rescheduled for Friday, July 4th instead of the normal Tuesday night showing.

Shelter Cove normally offers fireworks every Tuesday night once the sun goes down during the summer months. These fireworks can be seen from two complimentary events: Summer Jams at Shelter Cove Community Park and HarbourFest at Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina.
