On the heels of Restaurant Week South Carolina, more than 80 restaurants located in the towns of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton will participate in their very own Chamber Restaurant Week from January 25th to February 1st. A tasty tradition for the past seventeen years, locals and visitors are given the chance to discover the many different extraordinary menus of local restaurants ranging from the Lowcountry’s iconic seafood dishes and southern cooking, to other flavors inspired by countries around the world.
So how does it work? Participating restaurants will be offering prix-fixe menus (a fancy way of saying they’ve put together a set menu at a fixed price), and most of the time, restaurant guests are given a choice between a few appetizers, entrees, and desserts. A way for chefs and restauranteurs to celebrate fan-favorite menu items and recommend their own personal favorite dishes, this week-long event invites foodies, regular diners, and those of us constantly saying, “I’ve always wanted to try that place,” to actually try that place.
To find out exactly which restaurants are participating in Chamber Restaurant Week, visit the event’s page on the Chamber’s website. Menus are being added every day, but we’ve included some below so you can have an idea of what to expect. Click on a menu to expand to full screen.
